The Remnant Trust encourages area teachers to incorporate the documents into their curriculum. In addition, The Remnant Trust at IPFW welcomes school participation as official Remnant Trust schools.

An Official Remnant Trust School
Objectives
- To raise awareness about documents through fun, relevant experiences
- To provide opportunities for teachers to enrich and enhance curriculum and to support standards
School Commitments (Choose at least four)
- Integrate documents and concepts into curriculum
- Participate in “United We Read” and/or other K-12 programs offered through The Remnant Trust at IPFW
- Speech contest for middle schools
- Participation in the K-12 Remnant Trust Creative Showcase at IPFW
- Participation in The Remnant Trust Community Book Read and Essay Contest
- George Orwell’s 1984 (High School)
- Share ideas for enhancing existing programs and materials
- Identify school champion/spokesperson to coordinate curriculum and activities
- School representative(s) take the free Remnant Trust four-session course offered at IPFW in September and October. (3 CRU’s)
School Benefits
- Pre and post project enrichment materials provided by IPFW
- Certificates of recognition or awards for schools, teachers, and/or students
- Remnant Trust Drama Troupe to perform at school
- School field trip to Remnant Trust exhibit at IPFW (at no cost to schools)
- Possible radio and television PSA opportunities for children
- Remnant Trust trinkets
Note: Schools that do not seek the official Remnant School designation are still invited to participate in “United We Read” and any other associated programs.
